Tightening Things Up

I said early on that my GKI score was very important, as shown in medical studies. My aim was always to get my score down to 1 or below. That is what is proven to be excellent for cancer-fighting.
I believe my diet has been rather good as evidenced by my weight loss and overall well-being. However, my blood glucose and blood ketones have not been where I want them. I am coming to the conclusion that I am sensitive to the carbohydrates in many things and I must be even more strict about eliminating these.
As a result, I will be transitioning to an almost complete carnivore diet (mostly animal-based foods, fatty meats, fish, eggs, and some dairy). Not much else. One of the things I need to cut out is the alternative sweeteners I have been using. While they are zero calorie and natural, they can still trigger changes in insulin and appetite activity via the cephalic phase insulin response (CPIR) — even without glucose. I am simply eliminating these variables until I achieve my GKI goal. Then I can reintroduce single items to see how they affect things.
I am also fasting as I write this. This is a quick way to get into ketosis. I will be monitoring my blood and measuring my GKI score. My hope is that after 2 days of fasting I should be at least close to where I want to be. From there, my diet will hopefully support that and not take me out of deep ketosis.
