My Accidental Experiment

So about a month ago, I switched to a full carnivore diet. I also stopped taking all my supplements just in case they were affecting my ability to achieve a therapeutic level of ketosis. Studies show that a GKI of 1 or less is ideal for combatting cancer. I have been able to achieve that consistently every day now. That was my primary goal: get into therapeutic ketosis daily.
However, I started to develop some serious pain in my back and left rib cage. I didn’t connect the two as possibly related. The pain has been so bad that it interferes with my work, my sleep, and just the ability to concentrate on things. Taking pain meds just takes the edge off. I’ve been using heating pads, massagers, and hot soaks to help but it has been just 24-7 constant pain.
Several weeks into this same time, I had visited my oncologist and gotten a CT scan and PET scan. They both show progression of my cancer. Which may also explain a lot of my pain and discomfort.
However, I decided to reintroduce the most science-backed of my supplements to my regimen. Within 24 hours my pain was noticeably less and I felt more energetic. Is this anecdotal? Yes. But what I am choosing to believe is that the supplements I’m taking have been helping a great deal to keep my cancer at bay and suppressed. When I quit all of them cold-turkey for an entire month, the cancer blossomed. The scans clearly show fast growth during that specific period and not before.
I am currently in the application phase of getting into the clinical study. I have a tentative treatment start date of June 4th. My hope and belief is that these new therapies coupled with my ‘proven’ supplement stack will be highly effective at wiping out the cancer.
In the meantime, I’m quite happy to be in slightly less pain. Hopefully, as I’m on the supplements longer their effects will increase and most or all of this pain will go away.
